Message	ran into a guy in R&S about six months ago who had a special boxster.. to make his long story short, there were (i THINK) 3 boxsters made last year for very private expo's that had a 3.6 liter engine.. yes - the carrera engine. he had the proper connections and purchased it at MSRP for a standard boxster. no badges. bright yellow. apparently porsche "experimented" and revealed this car at high-rolling expo's. the guy told me when he took his friend out who owned a Carrera coupe, he said the boxster was clearly faster. boxsters are fairly light cars, and that n/a 3.6 is no joke - even on a 911. ya never know...
